python-lxml software package provides pythonic binding for the libxml2 and libxslt libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-lxml
python-lxml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-lxml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-lxml *
You will get with python-lxml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
